WebJun 24, 2015 · How ASE Uses Time and Date Adaptive Server Enterprise supports the use of date and time data through the datetime and smalldatetime datatypes (and, starting in 12.5.1, the date and time datatypes), as well as the getdate (), dateadd (), datediff (), and datepart () functions. WebThe SMALLDATETIME data type specifies a date and time of day in SQL Server. SMALLDATETIME supports dates from 1900-01-01 through 2079-06-06. The default value is 1900-01-01 00:00:00. The seconds are always set to 0, and fractional seconds are not included. Example # This example creates a table with a SMALLDATETIME column.
