My main issue here is the auto detect display just doesn't work. I use this monitor for work and gaming. So if I've been working, I can't change input using the JOG without unplugging the Display Port each time. WebTurns out there's a "dynamic contrast" setting. Press button on bottom of monitor. Then press forward/up to go to menu. Go to System and the fourth option should be "dynamic contrast". Turn this off. Immediately after doing this, the lighting changes stopped. There are rather noticeable blue/bright patches coming from the bottom of the display without HDR and significantly worse with HDR (likely due to the required higher brightness). It's not overly noticeable on a standalone black image which I found odd. WebJul 21, 2024 · Yes! I turned mine off - in the settings menu go to System, then to "Core Lighting" and set it to Off.
