Webb11 jan. 2024 · Sparkitoff. Well, if you haven't noticed there seems to be a shortage of caps at the moment. I have 1000 #11's on order and a cap-maker kit on the way. I also got 1000 4-wing shutzen musket caps. My percussion rifles include a Zouave, Buffalo Hunter, CVA Hawken, Pedersoli SxS Shotgun, Traditions rifle and a Pedersoli rolling block percussion. Webb23 apr. 2024 · MoCo. We're going to see how this works out. I picked up the percussion cap maker/punch for #10 and #11 caps. Instead of using an aluminum can, I have a roll of 0.003" thick, 3" wide copper foil. It sure punches them out pretty. I'll punch some aluminum caps as well, trial-fit both types, and see what works best.
