WebApr 25, 2012 · We have a projector in the school hall that when connected to a PC or Laptop with a powered source gives horizontal lines scrolling up the screen. If we connect a non powered laptop this pretty much vanishes. We have had electricians and AV specialists in and none of them have been able to solve this problem. WebEpson projectors are LCD panel based. You are probably experiencing the common "Screen door effect". More info here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen-door_effect From personal experience I notice the screen door effect more when lower resolution video is showing. Not as much on HD. WebDec 17, 2014 · In other words, both my projector and screen are to blame for this but as I determined with my tests, these waves do not show up on all materials so a new screen with a different material may make this problem go away. It wasn't just a line. I found that there are adjustment screws right after the lamp that you use to "calibrate" the beam of light entering the PJ.
